Joshua Bangera-Young holds a BA in English Education and an MS in Education. As an English teacher, he has received several awards for his dedication in the classroom, including Innovative Teaching Methods in 2015, Irreplaceable Teacher in 2016, and in 2022 he was awarded Educator of the Year by the Maryland Charter School Alliance. His work has been featured in Pearson Education’s “Success Stories,” Under the Radar, The Avalon Literary Review, and Kansas City Voices.

Joshua is currently an writing instructor at Montgomery College. He lives in Maryland with his wife.
